Look at Your Target

Looking at a target you intend to hit has always been a universal rule, at least it would seem that way until you observe golfers trying to roll a little ball into a little bit bigger hole. I’m sure if it were possible to look at the hole while putting in the “traditional” style, [as some golfers try to do when close to the hole], they would certainly rather putt that way.

However, you need to ask yourself why you don’t look at the hole when the putt is longer. Well it is obvious why, but I’ll say it anyways, BECAUSE YOU WILL PROBABLY MISS THE BALL! You need to ask yourself how stable your current stroke is if you dare not take your eye off of a stationary ball, less then a foot away, or you may not hit it.

With the simplicity of the Lateral Line stroke, and the stability of the L2 putter, you can now, finally look at your target and know that the ball will go where you are looking. At first, you will still be learning the basics of the Lateral Line stroke, so you will feel better looking at the ball. But in a very short time, looking at the hole will be as natural feeling as it should be. This does not mean that you are now never allowed to look at the ball again. on the contrary, for shorter putts when distance is not your main concern but direction is, looking at the ball and the large, square L2 head will work well.

So do yourself a favor and look at what you have been trying to “visualize” all this time. It  will be a new beginning to lower scores.
